Western Union Lithuania is a European Regional Operating Center (EUROC), established in Vilnius in July 2010. Center has a goal to safeguard WU purpose of moving money for better by managing the Operating Engine efficiently and delivering a great customer experience from Lithuania.

With almost 2,000 employees, the facility has become the largest Western Union site worldwide and now serving in 34 languages, 24/7 as WU Centre of Excellence. The Site enables driving Western Union engine with Anti Money Laundering Compliance, Accounting and Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Digital Distribution and Operations, Payments Operations and many other functions.

In 2017 WU established their Center of Excellence for RPA and Customer Experience Center in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Following the most recent trends of digitalization at work place, we have implemented Robotic Process Automation Solution. Our Virtual colleagues, Robots performing manual, repetitive, boring tasks, working 24/7 without brakes are enabling our employees to concentrate on creative and analytical tasks. With RPA we are taking robots out of humans. Currently robots are coded to interact with multiple applications, they perform multiple processes and support different functions. To create this capability, we have established the Center of Excellence of RPA and automated processes by ourselves, therefore, our employees can grow and develop themselves using modern technology for process automation.

WUnderbar is a walk-up IT service center providing to the Western Union employees a fast, convenient and personal way to resolve hardware and software issues on their laptops, tablets and mobile devices.

It saves time as no appointment arrangement is necessary; employees can speak with an End User Computer experts during the working hours.

The WUnderbar began its service in November 2017, in Delta building’s 1 st floor.

The Customer Experience Center which was opened in 2017 is one of the few places at WU where employees can experience the role of WU Customer or Agent. Everyone is welcome to start the journey at the customer facing equipment and stage money transfer on the web, kiosk or talk to our Service Representative over the phone. Jump into Agent’s shoes and complete the transaction on Wupos or another terminal.

Here at Customer Experience Center, employees are anticipated to try out the plethora of products WU offers such as Money Transfer, Money Orders, bill payment and the solutions for businesses.
